10th Week, Set 3

Kylie loves to stand these days. She really likes having the weight on her legs. Here's Kylie belting out a tune... we've gone from Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper" to the song you here in that Verizon, chocolate phone commercial. Turns out it's the band Goldfrapp and the song is "Strict Machine". Now Kylie is grooving to some techno-dance beats.
"I see you watching me!" Those are the kind of cheeks you want to pinch.

10th Week, Set 2

Here's Riley and Kylie at our friends' Jenn and Trista's birthday BBQ. Kylie has definitely grown since the last time we saw them together. Babies everywhere... soon all our social gatherings will be flocked with babies, babies, and more babies. Today we have 3, and are soon we'll have 2 more babies to add to these group photos.

Since birth, Kylie has always seemed to have her tongue sticking out. Her tongue photos always reminded me of a photo of Albert Einstein sticking his tongue out... I found it if you want to see for yourself (click here Einstein photo )... Such a happy baby. Posted by Picasa

10th Week, Set 1

"Who's that taking my picture?"

This is NOT a promotional photo for "Crest Pro-Health". We just bought the Exer-saucer for Kylie, and as you can see, she's already starting to enjoy it... though her feet don't quite touch the bottom yet.

A very inquisitive little girl, indeed.
I just thought she looked silly with her shirt around her head like this.  Posted by Picasa

9th Week, Set 2

Sitting on the Tarmac waiting for the Blue Angels. That's a C-5 in the background. The Blue Angels flying over the control tower.
Near Miss or Near Hit?

The show is over when they peel off in formation like this. Seeing an Airshow at a Military base is much better than the Oregon Airshow here in Hillsboro, OR. 1. It's free to the public. 2. They have much cooler aircraft. This show also featured an F-22 Raptor. It's the first time I've seen one of these fly. Unfortunately due to the low cloud ceiling, they had to cancel part of the Joint-strike demonstration. Which starts with a C-130 dropping off a couple armored Humvee's on the Tarmac with an assault team jumping out to take out some combatants across the field. Posted by Picasa

9th Week, Set 1

On our last Day in Anchorage, we went to the Arctic Thunder 2006 Airshow at Elmendorf AFB. Earlier in the week we caught the Blue Angels practicing. We knew we had to go check it out. (Traci and I love Airshows).

Here is Traci and Kylie in front of a Blackhawk helicopter.

Here is Traci and Kylie standing in the Bomb Bay of a B-52. In some sense, the Bomb Bay really isn't that large. Especially when you compare it against the cavity of the nearby Cargo jets (C-5, C-130, etc). Chris and Kylie in front of an E-3 AWACS (Airborne Warning And Control System).
Our first Airshow as a family. Amazingly, everyone is looking at the camera.

Week 8, Part 4

Outside Denali National Park. On a clear day, we'd have a view of Mt. McKinley (AKA Denali, the big one). Here's Kylie Punch Drunk on Mother's Milk.
This reminds of picture of Einstein with his tongue sticking out. I'll have to locate that picture too.

Week 8, Part 3 (Bathtime)

Bath time with momma is fun!
Traci, thinks the baby rolls are cute.

Week 8, Part 2

Taking a little Cat Nap... well not really. We wouldn't really leave her on the couch like that. In the last week and half, she's taken a liking to being on her belly and stradling my arm and being rocked with her legs dangling. There's a baby in there somewhere.
Another shot of our happy girl.
Traci says she looks just like me in this picture? You'll have to be the judge... I'll take it as a compliment.

Week 8, Part 1 (Anchorage, AK)

A Nice day in Anchorage. Thanks to my friend Ty Norrish for letting us stay at his Condo. It was great having a place to call home for a week and half.
Just Happy.
On the Matanuska River, near the Matanuska Glacier (Off the Glenn Hwy)

Kylie's 7th Week, Part 4 (Elim)

Here's a picture of Kylie napping in this Hammock swing. These are very common in the villages. It is simply a wood box frame suspended from the ceiling.

Here's Kylie getting a bath in a shiny red tub.

When Kylie is in the sling, she is typically content. From Elim we took Chris' four-wheeler to Moses point which is about 10 miles away (30 minutes by ATV) to fish for Silver salmon at the mouth of the river.

Here's us fishing out at Moses Point. We just learned that after Chris Perrigo saw us off to our flight that she went back to Moses point and caught another 15 silvers!

Here's Kylie after coming in from the cold and our fishing adventure. This swing is nice.
