32nd Week, Set 3

Biggest likes playing in the snow too.

I was at work this day... but the reports I got from Traci were that many families were out roaming the neighborhood playing in the snow. It sure sounded like a lot of fun.

I know Traci and Kylie had fun!

When I got home, I got my little taste of fun too!

When Kylie gets a little older I'll have to start taking her rock climbing. I think she'll be a natural (as most kids are). Plus it'll be a good way to get her energy out.

32nd Week, Set 2

Here's Kylie on her 7 Month Birthday. We went for a walk, it was a nice day. Cold, but nice. And if you can't tell, Kylie seemed to enjoy herself. (this is a favorite photo of mine)
Eating with Kylie around can be a challenge... we may have to start eating at our tall table soon just to avoid Kylie reaching for our plates.

On the 16th, Portland got hit with a pretty good snowstorm. The forecasters predicted around 1" of snow... by 11AM we had 4-5" of snow. So Kylie got a taste of her first snow! And had an opportunity to "suit up!"

And you can tell that Traci was just as excited to take Kylie out in the snow to play.

Here's our little snow bunny.

32nd Week, Set 1

Grandpa Roy, and Grandma Kathy sent some Christmas gifts... which included the singing Alvin and the chipmunks. Which Kylie likes. Keep your eyes out for them next year! Here's our little girl peeking over the tub.
And playing with her exer-saucer from the outside...
and under.
Here, Kylie is trying to make a snack out of the kitty.

31st Week, Set 3

More pictures from the first week of January.

Sometimes changing Kylie is difficult. She's very squirmy and mobile.
And always getting into mischief. "Are those Gap jeans?"
We think it's cute how she'll carry stuff in her mouth.
"Free me from this prison!"
Again, having more fun with the box. You can see how messy our family room gets from time to time, but there are plenty of things for Kylie to play with.

31st Week, Set 2

Here are some good Kylie faces. Working on a poop maybe?
No paprazzi!
Sometimes boxes and packaging make the best toys.
Here's Kylie offering to share with Biggest.
"So Big!"

31st Week, Set 1

Here's Kylie riding her new Blue Elephant.
And here's our girl with one sock. And look who's found a tunnel? Maybe she can stalk the cats this way.
This time she was bouncing alone on the elephant.
Not sure what to say about this one... I'm thinking she was flapping her lips.

Kylie's 30th Week

Believe it or not, but we waited until after Christmas to open our presents at home. I had to wait until Traci came back from Sacramento... it was worth it!

Here's Kylie with Reindeer antlers. And my framed copy of Kylie's Santa photo for work.
And here's Kylie with some of her other new toys.
And here's a happy Kylie after being fed...what looks like Avocado. Notice that some of it has made it's way above her eyebrow... a clear sign that Daddy's been feeding her.

29th Week, Set 1

Kylie in front of the Christmas Tree.
A little Elf decided to stop by for a visit.

Traci met up with her Godparents while in Sacramento.

Next year... she might be able to actually enjoy that candy cane.

28th Week, Christmas

This photo is from Christmas Eve, we took a walk in the neighborhood on their trail. Very nice. Kylie was enjoying the fresh air too.

Somebody just got a bath! Here's Kylie opening one of her many Christmas presents. "Hi I'm Tad."

And another toy...

This book is cool. Traci's mom, Donna, made it for Kylie. This is the kind of gift that I know Kylie will appreciate when she's older. (Plus she can chew on it now and the pages won't tear).

28th Week, Set 4

Walking barefoot in the sand. Santa Cruz boardwalk in the background
Two of the days on our trip we stayed with Traci's high-school friends Paul and Jenny, and their daughter Isabella. She was very good with Kylie, she's almost 3. Very cute!
On our journey from Santa Cruz to Sacramento we paid a visit to long-time familiy friends Lona and Larry. They gave Kylie her first set of letters. These are links too.
This was taken in Traci's parents' living room. She's playing with her fishy-clapper.

28th Week, Set 3 (still in Santa Cruz)

Here's Kylie sucking on Traci's bottom lip.
And here's my Mom, Erwin, and Kylie before they flew out to for Christmas in Seattle.
Today being a nice day, (and me finally finishing some work) we made the trip the Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk. Which was pretty quiet. But now, Kylie has been to both oceans.
This is one of my favorite photos.
