Hawaii 2/1 - 2/2

Last night to play games... one more game of Dutch Blitz.. for which I was never able to "blitz".

The girls. Zoe, Libert, and Kylie. We'll have to come back and do this again.

Kylie just climbed up on this rock and decided to sit... it was too cute of a picture to pass up on.

And the fatigue of restless travel sets in as we await our shuttle back to Economy Red. Kylie and Kelsey didn't sleep much at all on this Red-eye flight home.

Hawaii 1/30 - 1/31

Lava flow + live music = great family fun.

We made a visit to Anini Beach. Just a short distance from the resort and one of the top 10 beaches on Kauai. I agree. It's a good beach, plus with the coral reef, you get an off-shore break and calm water for the kids to play in.

all smiles.

Kylie and I rinsing our feet off.

Hawaii 1/29 - 1/30

Kelsey being "2 cool to drool"

I got my surf lessons in here at Hanalei Bay. Across the way is "Puff the Magic Dragon" with the furry nose, and triangular eyes. I think that is Bali Hai in the background.

Pool time.

A visit to Lydgate Beach Park.

Traci demonstrating the water ring for Kylie.

Kelsey getting her first taste of salt water.

Ready for some snorkel fun. The fish were better this time around than last I remembered. Only bummer was that it wasn't a nicer day.

Hawaii 1/28 - 1/29

One of the other lookouts at the end of the road. Clearly fogged/clouded in.

The view coming down the mountain was pretty cool.

And looking across the hills.

Kylie's ready to go swimming. She's a bit wreckless on the stroller steering.

Hawaii 1/28 part 2

Kylie doing some posing.

You can't tell from these pictures... but Kylie was sick during this part of the trip fever and all, but sometimes she has such a great demeanor and attitude that you can do whatever with her. That's something that makes her special to us.

Here's the spectacular view of the Kalalau Valley Lookout. If I ever have time, I'll try photoshopping in the actual view. I'm 1 for 3 on seeing the view. (you can refer back to my April 2007 kauai posts).

We were just goofing around here... as there is absolutely nothing to see in the thick fog.

Hawaii 1/28

The Road to Waimea Canyon. I love the colors of this photo. No photoshop here. It really looks like this on a clear day.

Kelsey and mommy time. (while the rest of us were exploring Waimea).

And of course Waimea Canyon... the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.

The girls.

Hawaii 1/27 part 2

Kelsey giving the float a try.

Getting messy eating solids.

Spending quality time with Momma.

And Learning to fly. (I like this photo).

Hawaii 1/27

Kylie going solo on the water slide. (I had to pull her up after she landed even though she only needed to stand-up).

Kelsey giving one of her cheeky grins.

Kylie modeling her "water muscles". That's what they're branded.

And our little Kylie doing some lounging after some swimming.
