13th Week, Set 2

This is what happens when you leave daddy home alone with the baby... here she's wearing Traci's socks... I heard leggings were back in style now. These would qualify as whole-leg leggings and/or swim fins.
Here are a few pictures from our trip to the zoo. If you can't tell by the pictures below... I think she had a good time. It was a nice day to be outside.

 

13th Week, Set 1

12th Week, Set 3

12th Week, Set 2

Here's Traci with Kylie on the same rocking chair Traci grew up with. Traci's been taking baths with Kylie for some time now. She recently talked me into giving Kylie a bath in the bathtub. It's fun, and she sure does talk a lot in the tub (Kylie that is).
Here's Kylie modeling one of her outfits... the knit shoes came from my Aunt Dot Verdee in New Jersey.
Maybe one day Biggest (the dog) will let Kylie ride him bare-back? My grandma's dog, Camie, used to let me do that as a kid.

12th Week, Set 1

First off... I realize I'm a week off in pictures. So I apologize in advance for the flood of postings over the next few days.

Here's Kylie sitting in her new "bumbo" chair. According to Traci, she sits in this all the time. The Exer-saucer is proving to be a good investment.
Here's Kylie's newest toy... a Evenflo "Jump & Go". Also known as a Johnny Jump-up. She's still too small to really fit in the seat... but she definitely likes to bounce a bit and hit the buttons.
Kylie and the rocking chair... this rocking chair has a bit of significance in that it is the same rocking chair that Traci's mom used to feed and rock Traci to sleep in.

11th Week, Set 5 (Lincoln, CA)

"Pucker up baby!" The Craig Girls.

Here is Traci's best friend Lisa with her youngest daughter Olivia. Here's Olivia and Lisa's other daughter Megan with our Kylie.

11th week, Set 4

Little Baby Einstein.

Kylie is starting to drool a lot... so if you notice that her mouth is glistening... it's probably drool and slobber. Here's Erwin, Grandma Kate, and Traci and I... just before we left to head back to Sacramento.
 

11th Week, Set 3 (Grandma Kate visit)

Here's Grandma Kate's first glance at Kylie. It took 11 weeks, but it was worth it. Kylie was super happy on this trip. Kylie did really good with all the driving we did that day. We drove from Lincoln, CA to San Jose, and later from San Jose to Scotts Valley. More than 3 hours of driving.
Here's Kylie the following morning... still a happy camper.

 

11th Week, Set 2 (Kylie's Post-Partum Shower)

Here's everyone gathered around. A special thanks to Lona Lange (and Nanny Craig) for hosting this San Jose baby shower. I think everyone had a great time, and enjoyed the food. Traci had two special surprise guests; her sister, and her mom's longtime friend Kay who flew in from Venice, FL. (Kay is sitting to the right of Traci in photo) Below is the cake... you can't have a party without a cake... too bad Kylie didn't get to enjoy it. She'll have to wait until her 1st birthday.

11th Week, Set 1 (California trip)

Grandpa Craig already tuning the baby out... okay, not really. This was their first time meeting and both were excited to see each other. Nanny Craig with sleeping beauty. It's been several weeks since Nanny Craig has seen Kylie in person. I know first hand that she's grown and developed quite a bit since the first few weeks.

It's hot in Lincoln, CA (outside Sacramento, CA).
Bathtime is still fun! Gotta love it.
