16th Week, Set 2

Here's one more from our walk with Kylie being cute. She really likes to push off those legs.
It's not winter yet... but when it starts to get cold, Kylie will be prepared!

This picture reminds me of the little brother in "A Christmas Story." We won't get her a Red Ryder BB Gun yet.
Though it's not winter, it's definitely fall! We decided to pay a visit to Laurelhurst Park in NE Portland to check out if the fall colors have arrived. Posted by Picasa

16th Week, Set 1

Traci says, "So sweet."

Here's a picture of my two gals hanging out in the back yard.

Still enjoying the remaining days of sunshine in the Northwest. These pictures were also taking along our walking route. It's always nice to have the warm glow of the setting sun.

So who do you think Kylie looks like?

I'd say 9 out of 10 people think Kylie looks totally like me, and everyone else says, "I don't know" or she looks 50/50. It doesn't really matter to us... 'cause we think she's beautiful regardless. Posted by Picasa

15th Week, Set 4

Somebody's happy to be awake.

Kylie and Biggest hanging out. Biggest the dog gets along quite well with Kylie. He's very good about hearing her crying and such.
Here's a picture of Kylie starting to sit up 2 weeks ago.

15th Week, Set 3

Here's Kylie napping on the couch. I guarantee Traci didn't leave her like this. We love how relaxed she gets when she has a full belly.

Here are a couple outdoor photos we took in our neighborhood. We have a short walking route which takes us near a blackberry patch on the power-line trail.

This photo was taken at the Vore's house (see their blog link on the right). We met up with them for a rousing game of Bocce Ball. Kylie was my handicap (though I'm not that good... it was only my second time). I'll give you three guesses what the burp cloth/towel is all about.... spit-up of course! On occasion Kylie likes to share some of her creamy leftovers. She doesn't seem to have a bad case of baby reflux. These days it seems to be common for doctors to prescribe baby zantac or prilosec for this sort of thing. We're going to ask about it next week during her 4 month appointment. Posted by Picasa

15th Week, Set 2

Kylie and Traci during our last trip to the zoo outside the Meerkat Manor.

Kylie in her Bumbo chair. These days she doesn't tolerate it much anymore. She just wants to squirm and get out of the chair. But back when these photos were taken, she was obviously enjoying herself.

Kylie in a "milk coma".

15th Week, Set 1

It's been awhile since I've posted some pictures... sorry to keep you waiting.

Here is Traci and Kylie on Friday September 22nd before Kylie and I made our Road Trip to Seattle for my 10 year High School reunion. Check out those sweet pink Puma's! If you have or had kids, you'll know that baby shoes don't stay on very long!

Below is my Uncle Michael and Kylie out in the Imperial Chaffey Rose Garden. It was a very nice day. And my Aunt's garden looks great even though most of the flowers are finished blooming. (My Aunt has the green thumb in the family).

Traci really liked these pictures, so here's a few in the series.

14th Week, Set 3

Here's Traci chillin' with Kylie.

Sometimes Baby the cat will come sit up on my shoulders. I'm not sure if it's cute, or a bad habit that I started by carrying her around on my shoulder? For now, we'll say it's endearing. She is by far the friendliest cat in the house. Kylie loves to stand!

14th Week, Set 2

Here's one of those rare times where you get to hold your baby close. These days Kylie is so squirmy it's hard to cradle her like we did when she was a newborn.

Kylie with her pink lamb.

Here's Kylie fresh from a bath. I'm sure there are a dozen captions I could put on this, but I'll refrain for once. Just know that I had Traci busting up laughing!

10/13 update: The "thong" is a photoshop edit to keep the photo "PG". I started trying to blur the area and that just didn't look good, then I tried a rectangle... and then it morphed into this. Traci finds the baby fat rolls adorable.

14th Week, Set 1

Here is Kylie during her first visit to Joan (GG) Davis.
Ahh... yes. This was Kylie's first roll-over from Back to Front. We missed the actual act of rolling over, but we caught the moment none-the-less. She still hasn't really rolled over much from back to front, though she's done front to back several times now (supposedly that's the easier way).

Here's Kylie in her Bumbo chair again.

Kylie loves standing... or just walking all over daddy. Posted by Picasa
