Sabbatical Blog: 8/23 time to depart

8/23: Second day off. Still have lots to do on the list before we leave. No matter what we do to be prepared, there never seems to be enough time. We did have a nice dinner with Mike and Laurie though. We flew out of PDX to JFK on an 11:25PM redeye flight. Flight time 4:30 minutes.
