3/10 Nome, AK part 2

The award winning snow sculpture created by some friends of ours. In case you can't tell its a baby seal popping it's head up through the ice.

The finish line looking down Front Street.

Here we are under the burled arch. It's a photo you have to take if you're there.

Heading home in the late afternoon. We met some new friends on this trip. Two more people from Crowley. Stacey and Randy. The two of them were kind enough to invite us to join them for dinner at Milano's pizza. A great Korean run pizza place that also happens to be the only place you can get Sushi in town (good sushi too... better than many of the places in the lower 48). We had a great time meeting them and hanging out with them... in hind-sight. I should've got picture for the blog... Stacey is the returning ladies lightweight division Armwrestling Champion afterall (she kept her title this year too!).

We were also spoiled by some fresh king crab that Nathan (Chris Perrigo's son) had pulled up from some crab pots they had set towards the ice edge. Good stuff!

Kylie with some messy blueberry face.
